Lesson 2: Post-Trip Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Boats Thoroughly:
- Clean the boat from top to bottom (table, seats, floors).
- Use appropriate cleaning materials and environmentally friendly methods.
- Ensure all trash is disposed of properly.
Proper Disposal of Trash:
- Use onboard trash cans for waste collection.
- Make sure to dispose of trash in designated shore-side containers.
Reporting Maintenance Needs:
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to a supervisor immediately.
- Document the issues and ensure they are addressed before the next trip.
