Lesson 3: Emergency Procedures
Handling Accidents and Injuries:
- In the event of an accident or injury, stay calm and provide assistance. Use the first aid kit for minor injuries and call emergency services for serious injuries.
Contacting Emergency Services:
- Know the contact numbers for emergency services and the Harbor Patrol. Ensure you can quickly reach them in case of an emergency.
Location and Use of Safety Equipment:
- Ensure that you know where all safety equipment is located on each type of vessel. Conduct regular checks to make sure all equipment is in working order.
